Recognized as one of the 10 largest malls in the country, the Galleria Texas is something definitely worth visiting. This indoor shopping center houses a variety of shops and is a great place to people-watch and window shop.

Walk Underground

This is far from the scary underground tunnels in most horror movies. Houston has walkways for pedestrians that are built 20 feet under the city. These climate-controlled tunnels also feature retail shops, dining areas, and accessibility to various hotels.

View the City from Above

From an underground walk, it’s now time to enjoy the city from the Spindletop. This the popular rotating restaurant found at the top of the downtown Hyatt. It offers a scenic view of the city any time of the day or night.

Experience a Rodeo

Being the biggest event in the city of Houston, the rodeo is a great place to experience what the Texan culture is really like. This is the largest gathering of livestock owners and enthusiasts in the world. The event is held annually.
